Texas Creative Celebrates Their Epic 30th Year With Five ADDYs

The San Antonio Advertising community united for a remarkable evening at the McNay Art Museum for the annual 2016 American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards. The ADDYs recognize and celebrate creativity, innovation and those pushing the bounds of creative excellence in all forms of emerging media. Texas Creative was honored to take home five ADDYs at the AAF San Antonio event for work produced on behalf of San Antonio Zoo, Palmilla Beach and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

For Josh Norman, EVP and Creative Director, the five wins mean a great deal. He states, “It’s always an honor to be recognized for outstanding work by our peers in the advertising community. The ADDY awards celebrate creative thinking and imaginative execution of marketing concepts ranging from print to outdoor to digital, and for any agency to see their work stand out is very energizing. Our staff couldn’t be happier to produce exciting work for our clients and to be recognized for all their efforts among a field of such great entries.”

In a crowded print category, a Best of Print trophy, given to the highest scoring entry, was awarded for Texas Creative’s Palmilla Beach Resort photography campaign.

Founder, President, and Chief Creative Director, Brian Eickhoff remarks, “The Palmilla Beach Resort photo shoot was a labor of love because who doesn’t love the beach? We were fortunate to find an excellent photographer in Tim Burdick who operates his business out of Port Aransas, right down the highway from Palmilla Beach Resort. Everything fell into place with regards to the talent, both human and canine, and the weather. We shot a lot that day and when we reviewed all of the images from the shoot we were very pleased with the results. It was easy to edit the images down to our hero images which the ADDY judges seemed to like as well giving us not only the Gold ADDY, but also the Best of Print Special Judges Award.”
