In today’s work environment, breaks at the water cooler are a thing of the past. Most companies are using instant messaging platforms for internal communication between employees, and Texas Creative is one of those companies. We use Slack to communicate with our fellow employees throughout the workday. As a Traffic Manager, I’ve come to learn that there are both pros and cons to using this platform.
The average agency can be a hectic place, with multiple teams working on everything from media plans, social media posts, creative strategies, website builds, to page layouts. A Traffic Manager ensures that all work from the account service team flows efficiently to the creative and production departments, then back to the account service team and out for an agency’s clients to review (and hopefully love).

Here at Texas Creative, we are tasked with taking the Gallup Strengthsfinder Test. It provides customized results that name your unique talents. It's what we do best. The test assigns us traits like Activator, Includer, and Maximizer. When I took the test, I got a WOO. WOO stands for Winning Others Over, and I was the only person in the office to receive one (until a new hire also received a WOO a few months later).
