David Parker

A Copywriter/Broadcast Producer/Creative Director with over 40 years of advertising and marketing experience, David has crafted effective and award-winning campaigns for virtually every category of business and government. His specialty is creative ideation and serving as messaging lead for creative teams. David’s strength and passion lies in converting thought into action, grasping the essence of marketing strategies, and guiding agency teams to create memorable, effective campaigns.

Parker joined the team at Texas Creative in June of 2016 as Vice President/Creative Director, where he continues to develop creative solutions for a variety of clients. Along with team leading responsibilities, his major focus is on crafting copy, both short form for digital and print and long form for websites and blogs and serving as copy editor for all agency projects. Parker also continues to lead the video endeavors of the agency for broadcast and social/digital projects.

His clients have included Salvequick of Sweden, AstraZenica/Europe, St. David’s Healthcare, H-E-B Grocery Stores, San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau, Time Warner, the Kennedy Space Center, Freightliner Trucks, San Antonio River Authority, LifeLock, Amazon B2B, Taco Cabana, Fuddruckers Restaurants, San Antonio Water System, Methodist Healthcare, and Goodwill of San Antonio.

Parker has won over 200 local, regional and national industry awards including the One Show, New York Art director’s Show and Clio finalist awards. He is also a board member and active participant with IMPACT Water, providing material funding and labor to construct clean water systems for rural villages in the mountains of Honduras.
