Media Buyer

As Media Buyer, you will be responsible for planning and executing large volume traditional and digital media campaigns for a portfolio of clients. We are looking for someone with previous agency, client, or media experience who knows best practices in analyzing, negotiating, and buying media and trafficking creative. You will report to the Media Director. Texas Creative is a remote-first workplace with a central office location in Downtown San Antonio. 

Background Requirements:

  • 3-5 years related work experience, client or agency
  • Bachelor in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, Arts Degree preferred
  • Preferred experience and knowledge of media buying software Freewheel (Strata/SBMS) and Comscore TV and Nielsen measurement data

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Works closely with Media Director and Senior Media Planner to design and execute media plans across channels, including TV, cable, OTT, radio, newspaper and out-of home
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on media buying best practices and trends, including platform changes and new product offerings
  • Identify and recommend relevant tactics and targeting strategies; leverage data to build insight-driven audience targeting and segmentation
  • Manage day-to-day implementation of campaigns; ensure proper execution of media buys by monitoring buys/schedules
  • Gather and reconcile monthly invoices against planned media
  • Assist in strategic analysis of campaigns; analyze key metrics to optimize campaigns; develop reports as needed
