Josh Norman

Josh joined Texas Creative in 2001 as a designer. Working quietly in a comfortable cube. Sometimes, it's hard for him to not miss those days a bit.

Nostalgia aside, Josh's role at Texas Creative grew from Designer to Senior Designer, from Associate Creative Director to Executive Vice President, sticking the soft landing for his current role as Principal and Chief Creative Officer.

Best known for his brand management skills, his attention to detail and his ability to explain some of the most complex technical solutions, Josh has an intuitive understanding of client needs and is a solid resource in providing design solutions for our local, national, and international clients. Since joining Texas Creative, Josh has been involved in all aspects of solutions we've provided for clients, including logo design, brand management, print and broadcast advertising, collateral, wayfinding, interactive, and social media design.

A multiple ADDY, Bronze Quill and American Marketing Association Award winner, Josh manages the operations of the creative department, consisting of 10 talented print and web designers and developers; he maintains quality assurance and consistency of brand voices. Josh’s creative direction and design have helped shape such brands as the San Antonio River Authority, Goodwill San Antonio, Jefferson Bank, Hill Country Hospitality, Rackspace, Texas Lutheran University, The University of Texas at Austin, San Antonio Museum of Art, and Cirrus Logic.

Prior to his cubicle days at Texas Creative, Josh toiled as a Designer in the Community Relations Department of the San Antonio Express-News and served his alma mater, Texas Lutheran University, as Director of Publishing Services for four years.

Our resident Prince aficionado, Josh is the only human on our Phone-A-Friend list should we ever end up with a Trivial Pursuit question about the Purple One. When you meet him, ask him about his favorite track, and maybe even about the podcast he has co-hosted since 2018.
