Marcus Romero

Family man, designer, maker — in that precise order. Raised on a steady diet of instant Ramen noodles, vinyl records, and reruns, Marcus’s work exemplifies the mood and exuberance of youth culture.

Originally a student of Computer Science, Marcus began his career as a promoter and event producer in the Texas electronic music scene and quickly became a sought-after and prolific poster designer. After a string of academic starts, Marcus completed art school in San Antonio. Transitioning from retail package designer and product development in the toy industry into the agency world, Marcus has filled numerous roles in his 23-year-long career, namely: Designer, Technical Director, Art Director, and lastly, Associate Creative Director.

Driven by curiosity, Marcus, our resident polymath, has cultivated a unique blend of talent during his fruitful career: 1) conceptualization, visualization, and execution, 2) results-driven corporate design and advertising, 3) a keen business sense, and 4) a wide-ranging technical aptitude for creative execution. With that breadth and diversity of experience, Marcus has established himself as a Creative capable of leading projects ranging from corporate branding and advertising to producing complex digital video campaigns deployed across simultaneous digital and social platforms.
