Texas Creative landing big wins after ownership change
Texas Creative has lined up a series of significant client wins in recent months expected to deliver a significant boost in revenue for an agency that underwent a major change last year.
The string of deals, including contracts with a high-profile law firm, a university system and a major medical campus, comes less than 12 months after its founding partners decided to sell the agency after a 37-year run.
The latest deal involves the Davis Law Firm, which has named Texas Creative as its new agency of record. Its work will include developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies for the firm.
“It means millions of dollars of ad spending running through San Antonio versus California where Davis Law Firm's previous agency was located,” said Texas Creative CEO Ashley Landers, who, along with two other partners, Chief Creative Officer Josh Norman and Chief Information Officer Art Williams, took over ownership of the company last May. “It's recognition that large companies don't need to look outside of San Antonio for agency partnerships.”
