As an account coordinator, the most important part of my job is organization. Using a bullet journal and the “bullet journal method” helped me through college and turned me into the organization superstar I am today. A client approached us recently to get involved in their Brand Identity work about mid-way into their internal process. It isn’t ideal to start mid-stream and work backwards, but we were happy to step in and provide value. They initially hired us to help with their web design and development as well as copywriting. After a few discovery sessions with them, we all agreed we needed to pause on the executional work and spend more time on the brand foundational work. Namely, Brand Voice.
Ask any designer which program is their least favorite to work in, and chances are it’s one of the Microsoft 365 apps (see Michael’s blog here). But, given that it’s a program that our clients probably use, it is one we are destined to have to deal with. Now that we have that disclaimer out of the way, just because it is yet another PowerPoint presentation does not mean it has to look like just another PowerPoint presentation.
When walking into Texas Creative and realizing someone has brought their dog to work, it sets the tone for the entire day. Sweet dogs just make your heart melt, especially at the workplace. It’s amazing what they can do with just their presence. Dogs can give so much to an individual and in return ask for very little.
